The long-awaited Dragon Ball Z collection from adidas Originals is in full swing! Each month will see the release of a double pack consisting of a hero and a villain from the series. Things kicked off in September with the ZX 500 RM Son Goku and the Yung 1 Freezer. The next instalment scheduled for the end of October will be a duel between the Deerupt Son Gohan and the Prophere Cell.
This time it is not the classics, but new models that will be imbued with the characters Son Gohan and Cell. Both the Deerupt and the Prophere are silhouettes that have been presented during the last twelve months. The Deerupt’s web-covered look was inspired by the New York and the Marathon Trainer, shoes from the 1980s. The Prophere, on the other hand, features an eye-catching, unconventional combination of various materials that lend it an unmistakeable look. While the Deerupt is dominated by a vigorous lilac (with the exception of the gum sole), the Prophere sports a striking white pimple sole and a green upper. Overall the shoe bears a good resemblance to the villain Cell.
Just like the first two models, the Cell and the Son Gohan will be released in very limited runs. For example, news has already trickled through that there will be fewer than 1,300 lots of the Deerupt in Europe. The Deerupt will be priced around the €140 mark, and the Prophere somewhere in the region of €160. The following list contains details of where and when you have the best option of buying the shoe:
